Dress in Blue on March 4th for Colorectal Awareness

Share on Social:

March is Colorectal Awareness Month and to kick it off – wear blue on Friday, March 4th! By wearing blue, you bring awareness to this disease and honor all who are impacted by colorectal cancer.

According to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, in 2022 an estimated 151,030 people will be diagnosed with this highly preventable disease. They will join more than 1.4 million colorectal cancer patients and survivors living today.  So, we wear blue for them, their families and their community. We also wear blue to support Colorectal Cancer Alliance’s mission to end this disease in our lifetime.

At SRC, we only accredit health care facilities and surgeons in colorectal surgery who are committed to high quality patient care and safety. Contact us if you are a medical professional or facility interested in achieving our Colorectal accreditation. And if you looking to find an SRC-accredited Colorectal provider, click here.

Visit Colorectal Cancer Alliance website for pre-written social media posts and images to use, more education, resources, volunteer oppertunities and more.
